Autopilot Nissan Cars Closer to Reality
TOKYO - Car autopilot or a car without the driver being developed by Nissan will likely be realized . Because Nissan has done a test drive on the road for the first time .
Nissan did this test on a highway southwest of Tokyo , known as Robotic industrial area . This test uses the Nissan Leaf electric car . In this test, the Leaf is able to perform a number of tasks autonomously with very well , and also managed to keep a safe distance from other vehicles .
" Nissan safer by trying to give more comfort , and also environmentally friendly cars depanya future , " said Toshiyuki Shiga , vice chairman of Nissan , as reported Leftlanenews , Tuesday ( 11/26/2013 ) .
" Through this toll road tests , we hope to further advance the development of our technology , with our goal to immediately implement this technology on Autonomous drive our vehicles in the near future , " added Shiga .
Nissan plans to introduce and begin marketing this technology to the public in 2020 . But Nissan has yet to announce the price for these autonomous vehicles in the future , but certainly this car will be present at a very realistic price for Nissan consumers around the world .
