Volkswagen Introduces More Efficient New Machine

Wolfsburg - The top-selling car, Volkswagen, introduces its new-generation engine, aimed at targeting new protective consumers who prefer better fuel efficiency, than about tight power.

That will allow the 2.0L engine to offer power such as 1.8L engine size, but with the fuel economy capability of 1.4L engine or 1.5L inline-four. In the Tiguan 2018 model, this engine produces 184 hp power and 210 pound-feet of torque.

While the third generation EA888 2.0L or currently available, is still used on VW-powered car models, such as one of the sporty GTI. This model has power up to 220 tk, and will continue to be marketed as market needs.
