VW Release Application Car Control Via Apple Watch

Wolfsburg - Following BMW and Porsche, another Germany car manufacturer also launched an application for Apple smart watches Watch. It is Volkswagen (VW) who has just released an app called Car-Net.

With Car-Net application, the VW car owners who use Apple Watch can keep an eye on the vehicle from a distance, lock and unlock the doors automatically, and find where the vehicle is parked directly from their wrist.

This application can also show the status of the car as well as receive speed warnings and restrictions in driving, reports iClarified.

The VW announced, Car-Net can be used for the products of their vehicle output in 2014, which includes model Beetle, CC, Eos, Jetta, Passat, and Tiguan.

Then following all production vehicles in 2015, including the latest Golf series, the Golf GTI, Golf R, Golf SportWagen, and e-Golf.
