Seducing : BMW 8 Series

Munich, Germany - German luxury car brand Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) brought up a teaser image, having just confirmed the rebirth of Series 8. The first public introduction is planned to be done later this month.

BMW will unveil a "design study" on May 26, 2017 at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, Italy, before coming up with the production, Coupe, scheduled for 2018 .

"The 8 coupe series will build on the tradition of our luxury sports coupe, and add to the ranks of pure dream cars.This new model will support our claim, as a leading brand in the luxury car segment.I can tell now that this will be a true luxury sports coupe , "Said Harald Krueger, CEO of BMW.

This luxury Kupe is based on the same CLAR platform as the 5th and 7th Series. The BMW party seems to have a goal to position this new model in the top position, compared to its brother Coupe Series 6 that already exist today.

According to the latest report, the production version of the Coupe Series 8 model year 2018, will compete in the price range of 150,000 euros. Then, the convertible version will follow in 2019, also variants with V12 range-topping. BMW said they still have not decided whether to build the M8 version.

BMW M4 CS
