Nissan Will Install Automatic Emergency Brake Feature on the 2018 Models


Nissan has become one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world and in order to make the driving experience very convenient for its customers. Nissan provides a safety feature that is planned to be installed in the new vehicle models in 2018.

The plan, Nissan will install a standard automatic emergency brake feature in 2018. Carscoops.com (08/06) also added that they will add these features to new vehicles such as Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport, Altima, Sentra, Maxima, Leaf, Murano and Pathfinder.


This feature will only be installed on vehicles that have a manual transmission. According to Nissan to carscoops, they are targeting from 1 million cars sold, 450 thousand units will be fitted with this feature.
The purpose of installation of this feature is to reduce the number of accidents that already exist and also able to avoid collisions due to negligence of the driver. Nissan is not the only manufacturer that wants to install this feature, some other manufacturers are also planning to install the feature.

Volvo already has similar features on its already released models in the United States. Toyota also from the beginning has created this feature and has been installed on its popular models this year. However, with this feature, vehicle manufacturers expect the number of accidents to be reduced.
