General Motors Develops Autonomous Car Seriously

The Detroit BureauGeneral Motors (GM) apparently concern to develop a car that can run automatically (autonomous). In the past two years, they have even had the technology to share information within a distance of 300 meters with another car.

By sharing information, said Mary Barra GM boss, the expected potential for accidents while driving can be reduced. Congestion also could be prevented thanks to availability of traffic information.

According to USA Today, the technology will be in the 2017 edition of the Cadillac CTS as a standard feature. Latest Cadillac models will also feature a super-cruise control system acceleration, braking and steering control when driving on the highway.

However, the actual technology that is not defined as an autonomous car that took over the full steering. Staying there will be intervention from the driver to process all the available information. But at least, this would be the implications of future technologies for the automotive world.
