Apple Patented "Searching Car" System


California- Forget the car park location? Apple was preparing grant applications. It's easy, simply say "find my car" to Siri, the personal assistant that works on Apple's iOS devices.

Two Apple patent, "Automatic identification of vehicle location" and "Vehicle location in weak signal location scenarios" published the official website of the US Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday (21/08/2014), indicating the development plans of Apple CarPlay cabin entertainment system.

The second mechanism is a patented system of work wear GPS, bluetooth, and a variety of sensors such as compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The owner just needs to "talk" to Siri and say "find my car". Then the application will open later lead the owner to find the car.

The second patent was first filed in February 2013, although that is not an indication that Apple will implement in their new products. But the possibility of this feature is one part of CarPlay.

Previous Apple has announced a collaboration with 29 car manufacturers to graft CarPlay the entertainment system. More recently, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo stated CarPlay delay until 2015, but other brands such as Hyundai, Honda, and Ferrari remain on the plan.
