This Tire Can Generate Electrical Energy

Geneva - If the regeneration energy from the rotation of the wheel, the frictional forces, or the hot exhaust fumes are no longer sufficient, Goodyear brand tire manufacturers create new breakthroughs. At the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, they introduced the tires BH-03 is capable of generating electricity to help the battery activates a number of car components. With thermo-piezoelectric technology in the tire, the heat generated due to tire rotation is used to recharge the batteries for hybrid or electric cars. Not only that, the tires can also absorb the heat of the sun even when parking though to be converted into electricity. This theory is good, but some actually smirked technology observers. It is said that the energy produced is quite small. However Goddyear flipped on to say that there are better energy produced than nothing.

Another concept presented is TripleTube. It is a tire with three layers having different wind pressure. Function, the tire will adjust to road conditions based sensors. For example, when the roads are wet, one layer will be inflating the middle tread portion so that the possibility of aquaplanning increasingly thin. However, there is no single concept was planned to enter the production line. However Goodyear believes, what they serve now in time will be required as electric cars and smart solutions in the future.
