Suzuki Vitara Starting Mass Produced

Esztergom - The latest generation of Suzuki Vitara compact SUV began to be mass produced after the debut debut done for the sake of the end of 2014 to early 2015. The Japanese car manufacturer was appointed factory Magyar Suzuki Corporation (MSC) in Esztergom, Hungary, as a production base for the European region.
Initial production marked with a special ceremony at the MSC, attended by the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and CEO Osamu Suzuki Suzuki Motor Corporation, Thursday (05/03/2015). The original plan, the plant will produce the latest Vitara 70,000 units by the end of the year, supported by 74 local component suppliers.
The products of this factory will not only be exported to countries in Europe, but also other areas. In total there are 70 countries that will receive the latest Suzuki Vitara from Hungary. The next target, raising the export destinations to 100 in the next three years.


The latest generation brings some significant design differences, but remains oriented as urban SUV. Five-door model is offered with front-wheel drive system as standard models. However, for consumers who have more money, option ALLGRIP Suzuki four-wheel drive could be an alternative.
Machines are offered in 1.6-liter gasoline type that produces 120 tk @ 6,000 rpm and torque of 156 Nm at 4,400 rpm. There is also a 1.6-liter diesel engine that produces 120 tk @ 3,750 rpm and torque of 320 Nm @ 1750 rpm. The two machines are connected with a five-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic.
