BMW Motorrad Patented Design Engineering with W Configuration

Engine with W configuration ? For cars there are already some manufacturers such as Bentley, Bugatti and some others. But how if the engine type is applied to the motorcycle? It was not there, but it will likely be there soon, because BMW Motorrad has reportedly patented a machine configured W for motorcycles.
Reported by autoevolution, W engine is actually taking the base of the V engine, only added to the middle of the cylinder again. It looks like the position of the machine will be installed parallel to the frame of the bike, so it will look more compact.
But look at the picture, it looks like this machine will still use pushrods, whose use is more suitable for classic cruiser-type motorcycle. Old technology that currently can be used for certain types of motors for sure.
Its configuration is quite unique, because it does not use a parallel configuration. But in the diagonal engine configuration.
The engine itself is still considered fragile and difficult in terms of treatment. Moreover, engine durability has not been proven. Although considered odd, of course, BMW Motorrad will be calculated before deciding to produce this unique configured engine.
