Research of Hydrogen Fuel from Hazar

Hazar Riset Bahan Bakar HidrogenKeeping the environment clean and healthy and free from pollution, a shared responsibility. One in the automotive industry that presents an environmentally friendly vehicle, with renewable energy.

The Guardian reported that an Australian company is developing and utilizing iron ore, to convert the methane in natural gas into hydrogen. This research is claimed to produce zero emissions fuel, because the carbon content of the gas captured in the form of high-quality graphite. As a fuel, hydrogen is known to have cleaner combustion products and can play a key role in the future energy market. But the method for producing this energy is still too expensive.

Hazar Group a company based in Perth in collaboration with the University of Western Australia, plans to halve the cost of hydrogen production, and is currently in the stage of filing a patent based on 'methane cracking'.What is most interesting about Hazar process is, the ultra-cheap catalyst and secondary commodities produced in the form of graphite, and can be sold to offset or reduce the cost of production.

ASX company director Geoff Pocock said that the use of catalyst in Western Australia in particular, can reduce expensive production costs. He said the company is also interested in using methane from bio-gas, which comes from plants and other organic materials. According to him, this way Hazar effectively can make a breakthrough and found a carbon sink.

"If you look at the cycle (carbon) Overall, the atmosphere carbon that produce CO2 can be stored in the form of commercial graphite. Indications of this initial phase has the potential to make and create hydrogen globally, as the fuel is clean and cheap," said Pocock.
