Reported Motor1, Sunday (10/07/2016), the latest edition of the Challenger that will use the same platform with the Alfa Romeo Giulia. That is, this model uses rear-wheel drive.
This change reportedly will add dynamism to the car, better handling, and make the car as the vehicle more agile.
There has been no official confirmation to use the machine. But it is expected the car will use a V6 or V8 engine.
As a comparison, Challenger generation Hellcat today use 6.2-liter V8 HEMI engine. The machine is capable of spraying up to 707 horsepower.
For this latest generation, the engine is expected to be used later is Hellcat V8 is upgraded so that at least can shoot up to 750 horsepower.
