Most Headlamp of SUV Have Poor Quality

Institute for Highway Safety USA, Insurance Institute for Highway Safely (IIHS) found that the quality of a small SUV vehicle headlights are not as good as it should be.Of the 21 models tested with 47 different combinations of the headlights, more than two-thirds of them considered poor, while five models of medium- and four others in accordance with the standard.Page Car Scoops, on Thursday, said that customers should ensure they get the best combination of headlights, for example, the Hyundai Tucson."The car manufacturers do not pay enough attention to the performance of the headlights properly. We are optimistic that improvements will be made after we give them something to try," said IIHS Senior Researcher Engineer Matthew Brumbelow.The IIHS test does not take sides on the technology of modern headlamps that include HID and LED, because they measure how far the projected light through five approaches: lights straight, gradual curves left and right, as well as a sharp curve to the left and right.In each scenario, the technicians also test light glare for other drivers. Vehicles that emit excessive glare does not get high scores.
