Seoul - Ssangyong finally officially launched a new model Tivoli in Seoul, South Korea, reported by Carscoop, Wednesday (01/14/2015). This compact SUV vehicle genre became the first model launched Ssangyong after Mahindra & Mahindra acquired from India.
International launch will dilaukan Ssangyong at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2015. In addition to the domestic market of South Korea, Tivoli is also ready for sale in the UK and other European countries. In the compact SUV class, Tivoli Ssangyong will compete with the Nissan Juke, Honda HR-V, and the Peugeot 2008.
Ssangyong offers Tivoli in two engine options, each of saline 1.6 liter, gasoline and diesel. For the initial stage, only a single front wheel drive system. E-XGi160 gasoline engine, claimed newly developed, producing power to 124 and torque of 157 Nm tk. This machine type is offered in two tranmsisi, 6-speed manual or 6-speed Aisin automatic.
Ssangyong claims, Tivoli petrol with manual transmission has an average fuel consumption of 12.3 kpl. Details about 1.6 liters of diesel, is still not explained further by Ssangyong to its international launch in Geneva, March 2015.
Completeness offered as a standard feature, among others, electric power steering, three driving modes (normal, comfortable, and sports), infotainment system in the form of a 7-inch touch screen, automatic air conditioning, smart key entry, and parking sensors.
To support security, completeness covers, air bags, ESP, tire pressure monitoring system. For those who need additional features, there is also a sunroof, Cruise Control, wipers with rain sensor, headlights with automatic activation, and rear camera.
