Tokyo - Honda recently launched Jade in Tokyo, Japan, as reported by Carscoop (01/09/2015). Multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) 6-passenger is indeed a new status in Japan, although previously been circulating in China.
The MPV was originally deliberately created specifically for the Chinese market, has been introduced to the market since 2013. This car debut at the Shanghai Auto Show 2013 with name Concept S. Now, Honda changed his mind and began marketing this model in Japan as well.
But, in spite same chassis and design, Jade Japanese version has a fundamental difference, namely the engine. Honda shed 1.8 liter engine i-VTEC which is used in China and chose tech machines Sport Hybrid i-DCD (intelligent dual-clutch drive).
The propulsion system combines a conventional engine, 1.5-liter, direct injection, the electric motor, combined with transmission 7-speed double berkopling. Similar technology is also used in several other Honda models, such as Vezel and Fit (Jazz) hybrid.
Some of the advantages are equipped for the Japanese market include, Collision Mitigation Braking feature, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow.
Jade in Japan offered in a 6-passenger seat configuration, with pattern (2 + 2 + 2), similar to the one in China. The difference, for the Chinese market there is a choice of 5-passenger variants, so that the trunk is roomy.
