Two Technologies "Anti-collision" from Toyota

In the latest technology event in Tokyo, Wednesday (11/26/2014), Toyota introduced two active safety technology, active braking system, prevention of accidents, which is referred to as the "Toyota Safety Sense C" (TSSC) and "Toyota Safety Sense P '(TSSP).

TSSC prepared for this type of compact vehicles, while TSSP for medium size and height. In Japan, the technology will first begin to use the spring in the second one after another in the summer. In 2017, these two technologies will be held in almost all passenger vehicles in the US, Europe, and Japan.

This system has the ability to be better than the features of the Lexus LS today, but the price is the same production. Toyota's efforts utilizing uniform components in a variety of models, effectively reducing the price of production. "When it comes to development in this area, has been growing very rapidly," explained Moritaka Yoshida, head of Toyota's Safety Technology.

TSSC, used for compact cars, could stop the car being run at 30 kph before the accident. This system operates up to a maximum speed of 50 mph (80.4 kph) and is able to slow down the speed of 19 mph (30.5 kph), until the car drove into a 31 mph (49.8 kph). That way when the accident occurred, the impact will be minimal.

This system can also monitor the path of the vehicle on the highway and commemorate the driver that was accidentally moved lane. Also there, penghidup great lights automatically. How it works, big lights will be turned on when the camera is in the front of the vehicle detects a car from a distance. TSSC menafaatkan information from laser radar and a single lens camera.

TSSP
Meanwhile, TSSP, a collision prevention system for larger vehicles than Toyota. This technology is able to stop the pace car speed 25 mph (40.2 kph) before the accident. The system is also able to detect pedestrians and avoid bumping into them in a maximum speed of 19 mph (30.5 kph).

TSSP operates using a single lens camera that is connected to the display in the rearview. Also has a radar wave is more effective than laser, especially in bad weather.
