NEW YORK - Honda is planning to introduce the HR - V 2015 this year , but the New York Auto Show carpet manufacturer from Japan that has shown the first images of the new model .
2015 Honda HR - V is a compact crossover version of the American Honda Vezel made based on the Honda Jazz , and is under the slot of the CR - V . The original version of this model is the three- and five- door crossover manufactured from 1999 until 2006 .
" Both Fit and HR - V shows how great things can be brought by a small vehicle , and no one does it better than Honda , " said Jeff Conrad , senior vice president of American Honda , as reported by Inautonews .
" These models also jointly represent Honda in expanding our production in this region , which has been the key to our success in the United States for over 30 years . " he added .
Although not officially confirmed , the possibility of Honda HR - V will be equipped with four- cylinder engine capacity of 1.5 liters . This machine is the same as that used for the Honda Fit or Jazz is capable of generating power up to 130 HP with a torque of 154 Nm .
