Las Vegas- Kymco participated into the largest information technology exhibition, the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas, United States. Taiwanese scooter manufacturer will present Kymco Noodoe feature that allows riders to connect with smart phones during the trip.
This idea was developed based on observations Kymco scooter users in big cities, which often unlocked cell phones while driving and dangerous course. With this technology, the driver can connect the phone to be bothered on the digital screen without holding it while walking.
"Are all scooter riders are able to absorb that information? A touch screen is very difficult to use while driving a scooter," said Kymco Group Chairman Allen Ko, as reported by autoevolution, Monday (09/01/2017).
As described previously, the technology which will be applied to the models 550 and 150i Kymco AK is working through the digital display on the indicator panel. The interface can be accessed via a button placed on the right hand rider, or rather close to the gas lever.
