Sightings of New Civic Type R Engine

Detroit - News of the project to design Honda Civic tenth generation performance version of the already debut last November broke out again. Special forums loyalists, CivicX, Wednesday (30/12/2015), leaked photos of the new Honda engine, 4-cylinder, 2.0L, turbocharged, which is likely to be used on top of the Civic variant.

When the debut all-new Civic, Honda introduced a new 1.5L turbocharged engine with 174 tk to accompany the naturally aspirated 2.0L engine option powered 158 tk.

Based on rumors that have been circulating, a class above the standard model will be called the Civic Si. On it there will be a Type R which is certainly more powerful. Both use the new 2.0L turbocharged engine.

Civic Si reportedly received 230 tk power version is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Her birth is scheduled for mid 2016. Type R will come in 2017 with more capabilities.

Type R is likely to be a global model, follow the strategy of selling Honda Civic in many countries.
