Suzuki Jimny Continue Tested on Public Roads
Geneva - At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015 and then, Suzuki showcased two concept cars. The first is iK-2 which has become Baleno hatchback and the iM-4. After Baleno, this Japanese automaker began intensively testing the concept car both on public roads, this time carried out in Switzerland.
In that test, as reported by autoevolution page, on Tuesday (29/09/2015) concept iM-4 were closed in black and white stickers to fool people around. But, the most interesting is the iM-4 predicted as successor Jimny but made the crossover model.
Speculation had not been answered by Suzuki, but in the case of 4x4 vehicles, Suzuki has a pretty good history. In fact, Jimny itself is still a model of public interest the world, including Indonesia.
Furthermore, iM-4 predicted using a gasoline engine 1.2L 1.0L turbocharged Dualjet Boosterjet. Looks like option-tech machines Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) are also included in the count.
The plan, iM-4 also features two motion systems, namely on both front wheels or all four wheels. Judging from the appearance of the test models were caught on camera, the production version of iM-4 can be slid in 2017.
