Ciaz 1.3L engine with SHVS
It uses SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki), the source of this new drive technology also recently exhibited at GIIAS 2015. In India, SHVS cooperate with 1.3L DDiS diesel engine, resulting combination of power and torque of 88.4 tk 200 nm.
The new hybrid variant to replace the 1.3L diesel variant which has been circulated previously. But the advantages in terms of fuel consumption is claimed to reach 26.21 to 28.09 kpl.
Ciaz hybrid only has a 5-speed transmission, equipped with ISG (Integrates Starter Generator), the regeneration energy from braking, start-stop system, and the assistance torque regulator. From the overall look, there is no difference Ciaz hybrids with other variants except had the symbol "SHVS" behind.
Suzuki India also began to fix Ciaz by pinning feature salvation. Among these dual airbags, seat belt pretensioners, anti-lock braking system and electronic brake distribution, as standard equipment.
