As revealed by Autocar India, several major Honda dealership owner in India has been invited to Honda's research and development facility in Japan to see the figure of the SUV.
The new SUV is likely only for the Indian market only, which will compete with the Renault Duster and Mahindra XUV500. It is estimated, mass production will be done at the end of this year and ready for the market in 2016.
Although tangible SUV, new car platform is not taken from the Honda HR-V (Honda Vezel) because the price is too expensive. This possibility inexpensive SUV will use the platform of the Honda Mobilio which has been developed by engineers in Japan.
