"There is no obituary hybrid. We do not forget about the hybrid technology. Our current focus is a 1600 cc diesel engine, "said Honda Motor Europe's Chief Marketing Officer Philip Ross as reported by Automotive News Europe.

Jazz new hybrid is expected to have CO2 emissions below 100 grams per km in order to meet European standards so it gets a tax break. Jazz hybrid that is now still has emissions of 104 grams per km. Still less with the Yaris hybrid, 79 grams per km.
