New Delhi - Just two months after the debut at the EICMA Show, Milan , November 2013 and then , the "dark side " KTM Duke 390 with shades of "midnight black " was launched in India on Tuesday ( 01/28/2014 ) . This variant complements the previous choice of only one color , orange and white combination .
Duke 390 is the first medium-sized motorcycle sport in India , manufactured at Chakan facility district assembly , Maharashtra , India , and managed to reap success in cooperation with Bajaj KTM .
" With the power pack 44 PS and 35 Nm of torque plus the weight of only 154 kg , this model is accepted by the market . New, more sporty colors give consumers another option to express themselves , " said Amit Nandi , vice president of KTM in India .
Besides Duke 390 , KTM and Bajaj in India also successfully market Duke 200 which is a smaller variant of choice for everyday use . Product expansion will continue, including a plan to assemble a sport air- RC200 and RC390 fairing , and probably will be shown in the Auto Expo in Delhi , in the near future .
