Mercedes - Benz introduced the crossover GLA 45 AMG at the Detroit Motor Show 2014. This model is part of the entry level AMG sold for more " affordable " to accompany A 45 AMG hatchback and sedan CLA 45 AMG , which was launched last year . Menyosor car targeted young consumers as the latest generation of the Mercedes - Benz AMG .
" We put the GLA 45 AMG at the bottom of a compact SUV , is now growing rapidly . Young consumers become our target . They are looking for a car with dynamic , "explains Tobias Moers , AMG - Mercedes boss . GLA 45 AMG is in the order of most youngest among SUV models GLA 45 AMG , ML 63 AMG , GL 63 AMG , G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG .
As a driver , 4-cylinder engine mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged , 340 PS and powerful 450 Nm of torque with transmission Speedshift DCT 7-speed . Power from the engine is channeled through technology 4Matic all four wheels . Mercedes claims , 0-100 kph acceleration in just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 kph .
GLA 45 AMG AMG appears muscular with fittings such as body kits , grille two blades , four exhaust tip that is integrated with the rear bumper . Described , the cabin is designed with aircraft cockpit style and look trendy . Another addition is the sport seats , dashboard with carbon fiber accents and a 5.8 -inch screen , steering wheel with multifunction buttons trending .
Mercedes - Benz has not announced due to be launched by the middle of this year .
