Knowing Various of Vehicle Drive System

Four-wheel vehicle technology continues to grow from year to year. One of the developments that occurred can be seen from the type of vehicle propulsion systems.
According to data compiled, there are several types of vehicle propulsion. Starting from the front wheel (FR), rear wheel (RW), four wheel drive (4WD) and all-wheel drive.

FR or front-wheel drive means that running a car is front wheel. Engine power output transmission systems delivered to the front wheels. Usually the cars that use this propulsion system is Jazz, Yaris, Mazda6, Mini couper, and several other cars.
Opponents of the FR is a rear-wheel drive or (RW). Power generated by the engine is delivered to the rear wheels through axle. Cars with propulsion systems have been selected because its design is simple. Call it Innova, Avanza, RX-8, or Panther wear this drive system.

Then there is also 4WD system. Drivertrain pinned allows engine power output can be routed to all four wheels. Car users of these systems usually allows the driver to select power delivery to only two wheels or all four wheels at the same time directly. Some models such as the Pajero Sport, Fortuner, or Jeep Wrangler using this system.
Similar to 4WD cars with AWD system also allows the engine can deliver power to all four wheels at once. Only, the driver can not deliver power to choose only two wheels or four wheels for a permanent system for the four wheels. Call it the Lancer Evolution, Nissan GTR, or Subaru Impreza using this system.
