Honda Develops 10-speed Automatic Transmission

Tokyo - Honda Motor Company is developing a 10-speed automatic transmission. Later, the transmission will be used by Honda vehicles in the future. Automakers from Japan's claims, the latest transmission has many advantages.
Compared with the same transmission that has been developed by other brands, reported Caradvice page, on Tuesday (27/10/2015) Honda said displacement teeth far more subtle and claimed to be more fuel efficient. In fact, the first such transmission is applied on the front wheel drive car (front-wheel-drive / FWD).
The plan, the 10-speed transmission that will be developed on the Honda engine which has a large capacity, such as 3500 cc, but the future is very likely applied on smaller machines.
Another advantage is owned by a 10-speed transmission such as Honda, compact design only 375 mm, and available features idling stop system and shift-by-wire gear shifts to the present decline is not necessarily sequentially. Examples of position six or seven can be directly to three or two.
Thanks to its advanced technology, the transmission is still able to provide acceleration qualified. Reportedly, 10-speed automatic transmissions will have torque of 370 Nm.
