Mercedes-Benz Battery Ready to be Home Energy Sources

Stuttgart - Daimler AG to create batteries for home energy needs with Mercedes-Benz brand. This makes the decision to deal directly with the manufacturer Tesla Motors has produced similar technology.

According Accumotive, they have developed a battery that can reach 20 kWh. The amount is enough to meet the power needs of a home in the US about 16 hours. While households in Germany usually only spend 10 kWh per day.

Not explained how the battery's Mercedes-Benz brand. For comparison, Tesla battery branded Tesla Energy uses sunlight to convert it into electrical energy.

The battery is then placed in the wall of the house. In addition to the energy source, it can also be used to recharge electric cars. On a larger scale, these batteries can also be used for industrial needs.
Daimler itself has not revealed how much the price per unit of battery. For comparison, the Tesla battery is priced at US $ 3,500. The price includes the cost of installation.
