BMW Automatic Cars Goes to Reality

BMW is currently working on the car of the future, which is one of the points interestingly, can drive an automatic, so no need driver again. Well, said the development of this German manufacturer has come closer to reality.
In the event the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 in Las Vegas next month, BMW will feature two new technologies, 360-degree Collision Avoidance System and Remote Valet Parking Assistant. Two of these technologies is a key supporter of full automatic car.

With 360 degrees Collision Avoidance System installed on the BMW i3, the car was able to detect objects around so that it can prevent accidents by braking automatically.

By using four laser scanners, the system notes the surrounding environment and provide data as feedback, identifying obstacles around the car and prevent collisions by informing the driver of obstacles that exist around the car.

In addition, the Valet Parking Assistant, BMW also has managed to completely automate the control of the car by controlling the vehicle sensors through digital sites, thus negating the GPS signal, which is not always accurate. The result while testing, the car is able to determine the exact position in the parking lot.

Relying on similar sensors on the aircraft, Valet parking assistant allows the driver to go down in the lobby of a building, while the car will run itself to park themselves in the parking lot provided. Users only need to control through Samsung SmartWatch, which was developed specifically for BMW.
