When viewed from the specifications of the engine , this bike will be based on the same engine from the Honda CBR250R , with a difference of 76 mm bore and stroke of 55 mm .

With the support of the engine , Honda 's latest motorcycle capable of generating power up to 40.4 hp ( 22.7 kW ) at 8,500 rpm rotation , with maximum torque of 27.0 Nm ( 19.9 lb - ft ) at 7,250 rpm rotation .

For the size of the wheels , the CBR300R will have the same wheel with CBR250R sized 110/70 ring 17 for the front wheels, and 140/70 with the ring 17 in the rear . With these specifications , the Honda CBR300R is going to be a tough competitor Kawasaki Ninja 300 .
