Four-wheel vehicle manufacturers Peugeot, launched the second generation of compact models, 5008. The first generation of this model allowed to stand for seven years, until finally reinvented as a sport utility vehicle (SUV) dashing.
This decision was considered ideal by Peugeot. Because the SUV segment is currently the third best-selling passenger vehicle in Europe, as reported by Carscoops, Wednesday (07/09/2016).
Just like the model 3008, New Peugeot 5008 is built on a modular platform EMP2 PSA. The second generation of the 5008's had a body length of 16.5 cm and 11 cm wider than its predecessor, and offers seven seats, where passengers in the second row have a 60mm knee space.
Second row and third row had separate seats that can be folded, tilted and removable. Trunk space also can be enlarged to 640 liters (in the seven-seat configuration), into a 1,060 liter, with the third-row passenger seat folded, and can carry items up to 3.2 m long (all passenger seats folded).
Carscoops.com The latest generation of the Peugeot 5008.Selection consists of 1.2L gasoline engine with 130 PS (128.22 tk) with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.6L with 165 PS (162.7 tk) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Then the consumer also memilliki selection of 1.6L and 2.0L diesel engines.
All variants are equipped with a complete security system standards. As one of them Distance Alert, which can alert the driver when the car is at risk of a collision at the front, with other vehicles or pedestrians.
