WOKING - A revolutionary plan being developed by McLaren . British sports car manufacturer is currently designing a technology that allows cars no longer use the wipers .
McLaren Group , as one of the UK 's most advanced automotive companies , are designing a replacement of the wiper rubber is in a car , in order to remove rain water or snow on the windshield . Wiper has used the car for almost a century , and was created by Mary Anderson in 1903 .
Frank Stephenson , McLaren's chief designer in Woking headquarters , told the Sunday Times that , it adapted the technology already developed for fighter jets , as an alternative to the wipers .
McLaren will make use of high frequency sound waves that blanketed windshield . It can generate the power to remove water or insects and other things that could have been exposed in the road .
This method can improve the visibility of the rider . In addition , McLaren said without wipers can improve fuel economy by reducing car wiper motor and windshield design downsizing .
