Suzuki Turbo Engine Design

TOKYO - Although famous as a specialist machine concise , Suzuki has also set up a plan for presenting a more performing machine . Suzuki is developing a turbocharged gasoline engine plus .

This turbocharged petrol engine will be paired to the variant of Suzuki in the class B segment and the C segment . Later in 2016 and 2017 , models such as the Suzuki Swift and a crossover S - Cross , will be using this machine .

detail beritaSuzuki actually has a turbocharged V6 engine that is mounted on a luxury sedan , the Kizashi . However , Suzuki did not extend the plan , because it is not considered feasible . Currently Suzuki is developing a new turbocharged petrol engine which uses technology Dual Jet .

Dual Jet technology has the working principle is similar to the direct injection technology . Fuel is supplied to the two intake ports per cylinder , not just to a single port . This can improve fuel efficiency .

Such as brake energy recovery system KERS will also be used Suzuki . Basically , the kinetic energy of the car is converted into electrical energy and stored in two lithium batteries for later use. There are also features start / stop automatically so as to improve fuel efficiency .

The new engine is the same as the K12B petrol engine , but there are changes to improve fuel efficiency . Dual Jet engine technology will be paired with some variant of Suzuki which is currently in design .

Machines with a capacity of 1.0 liter turbocharged engine will produce power plus 99 BHP , which will be integrated in a hatchback car . While the 1.2 -liter turbocharged engine with a power of 118 BHP workers , will be used in the S - Cross crossover segment . The last and highest is a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 148 horsepower power .

This engine will be produced in Japan and exported to Hungary . Turbocharged engines are also produced in the factory of Changan , China .
