Jaguar Developing Four Cylinder Engine


LONDON - The manufacturer Jaguar is planning to try out the new machine in the next year. Jaguar calls the new machine will be tested was a new type.

Reported by Autocar, Tuesday (10/12/2013) Engineering Director, Jaguar, Wolfgang Ziebart confirm this first pre-production models will be manufactured using the latest machines i54 Midlands facility by mid next year.

According Ziebart first engine to be produced is a four-cylinder diesel engine which is scheduled to enter the production line by the end of next year.

It is expected that the diesel engine will be a production model that will be used in the premium sedan Jaguar and will greet the market in mid-2015. While the latest petrol engine

Ziebart add this new machine should set new standards in terms of efficiency, weight and power. Latest four-cylinder engine family will use many components and construction techniques that would eventually be applied all models of Jaguar-Land Rover.
