Land Rover Introduced "Transparent" Roof Technology



Coventry - Land Rover back public flirting with a slight leak on one of the Discovery Vision Concept Technology , Transparent Bonnet , before its debut at the New York Motor Show on 16 April 2014 . Innovative concept , the combination of the camera in the grille and the Head - Up Display allows the hood engine looks like invisibility.


That way , the driver can see the road surface condition although hindered hood . This function helps more pronounced when the car was at the peak of a hill . In this situation many drivers observe the way up to hard difficulty making decisions .

" Our vehicles are becoming increasingly viable for off-road , we will ensure drivers get the confidence to go on in all conditions . We have developed technologies including Transparent Bonnet to add a real sight to help them finish all the obstacles , ranging from the ' hard ' off-road until the situation is ' tight ' like looking for parking , "said Wolfgang Epple , Director of Development and Technology Jaguar Land Rover ( JRL ) , as reported by Inautonews , Wednesday ( 04/09/2014 ) .

Work technology " transparent " starts from the camera , the data is sent directly to the display head - up display on the windshield . As a result, calculations of data displays images behind the hood that looks like transparent .
