Wireless Charger is on Luxury Cars
Wireless Power Consortium ( WPC ) , which consists of more than 180 mobile devices and communications company , yesterday demonstrated the Qi wireless charging at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas , USA .
Device is a mobile device charger that is already used in luxury cars Jeep , Toyota , Mercedes - Benz , BMW , Volkswagen , and Porsche was demonstrated on the Audi car .
So the Audi Phone Box , which was launched in 2012, now it is updated by adding the Qi wireless charging .
With Qi wireless charging , driver and passenger cars from a number of the luxury car manufacturer can charge their gadgets easily without wires .
Existing electric box at the bottom of the Audi phone power to the coil through induction receicer in smartphones , and ensure the Audi users can charge their smartphone at any time .
Audi uses WLAN hotsport in the car to combine the world of smartphones and tablets kecerdesan with automotive .
" Audi joined with Daimler , Toyota , Jeep , and others who have implemented Qi wireless charging in cars and the latest models to come, " said WPC President Market Development , John Perzow , as reported by the official website of CES 2014 .
Qi is supported 200 WPC member companies , including ConvenientPower , Energizer , HTC , LG , Motorola , Nokia , Panasonic , Royal Philips , Samsung , Sony , Toshiba , and Verizon Wireless .
The cars are already using the Qi wireless charging , among others, Jeep Cherokee , Toyota Avalon , Prius , Harrier , and a number of models of Mercedes - Benz , BMW , Audi , and Porsche .
Some operators are already integrating Qi wireless charging in their tens of millions of smartphones include China Mobile , NTT DoCoMo , Telefonica , and Verizon .
Qi compatible wireless charging for various popular devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S3 , Nokia Lumia 1020 , LG G2 , Motorola Droid Maxx and Mini , Google Nexus 5 , and tablet Nexus 7 .
