Chevrolet Stingray Watched Such Video Games
Las Vegas - Chevrolet Corvette Stingray complement - launched this year - to feature Performance Data Recorder ( PDR ) to record video while displaying engine performance such as video games .
" The PDR incorporates the ability to record and upload videos as telemetry is used by professionals in the world of racing , " said Tadge Juechter , Corvette Chief Engineer at the Consumer Electronics Show , Las Vegas , Sunday ( 01/05/2014 ) .

PDR consists of three important components that have been integrated in the interior of the Corvette Stingray . First , HD or high-definition camera mounted on the inside of the windshield . Function, the angle of vision of the driver's record also included an audio recorder to capture the sound in the cabin expression .
Second , a tool that works by utilizing the GPS to access information , such as speed , engine rpm , acceleration position transmission , incubation , and steering angle .
Third , all data stored on the SD - Card so easily transferred to a computer with a capacity of 8 Gigabyte ( GB ) or can record up to 200 minutes , while the 32 GB 800 minutes .

The driver can choose three types of video display on the screen head unit in the dash . Track mode displays all the data , including speed , rpm , gravity , the car's location on a digital map , lap time , and others .
Sport mode , more detail than the Track mode , the data also show the speed and gravity . Touring mode , only the following record audio and video , without saving the data . While the Performance mode to record the data can be 0-100 kph acceleration when accelerated in a straight 400 meters .
Recordings can be viewed or downloaded for action after the edit process and uploaded to social media .
" By knowing the engine turns , the driver may fix the time of the next lap . Condition , such as 32 GB has a crew on the edge of the track that always inform each lap time record , " Said Juechter.
