Triumph Three Cylinder Engine for Moto2


Hinckley - Triumph officially became the engine supplier for Moto2 team from 2019. This has been agreed and confirmed by Dorna Sport.

The British brand will provide Triple configured Speed ​​Triple engine with a capacity of 765 cc to replace the Honda CBR600 engine that is currently used Moto2.

"This is an important moment for Triumph as a new chapter in 110 years in the world of racing and celebrates victory in TT and Supersport three-cylinder engine," said Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer for Triumph Motorcycles quoted by autoevolution.

Although no mention of power specifications for the Moto2 version, but based on the existing version of the street, Triple-classed Triple TriBph powered 765 cc engine has a power of 123 tk and 77 Nm of torque. There is a possibility this power will be increased to 160 tk.
