MV Agusta 1000 F4When introducing Turismo Veloce models 800, CEO of MV Agusta, Giovanni Castiglioni says this bike will be the last product that uses the base three-cylinder engine. If true, would be a shocking news, the article MV Agusta is known for machines that use a three-cylinder in most products.

One of the models that will be replaced is F4, which is a superbike models of the Italian manufacturer. This means that the motor with the new engine will have to do a re-homologation. It is done if the MV Agusta still want to participate in the World Superbike races. The same thing has been done through New Yamaha R1.
Whether this is a setback or not, the article of the Italian manufacturers known for its characteristic engine. As known Ducati L-Twin, and MV Agusta alone with the three cylinder engine.
